This policy explains what information myaibartender collects when you use myaibartender.com and the My AI Bartender app, and how it's used.
When you create an account, we store your first name, your email address and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store your password itself.
As you use the app, we store the bottles, ingredients and bar tools in your inventory, your saved cocktails, your shopping list and a record of your credits.
When you use the contact form, your name, email address and message are emailed to our support inbox so we can reply. They aren't stored in the app's database.
When you add a bottle by photo, the image is sent to our AI provider solely to identify the bottle. We never save or store your photos.
Your information is used to run the app: to design cocktails around what you own, keep your saved cocktails and shopping list, manage your credits, and send account emails such as email verification and password resets. We never sell your information or use it for advertising.
A small number of providers help run the app, and each receives only what it needs:
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. If you tick "Remember login details", a cookie stores your email address on your device for 30 days so the login form arrives prefilled. While the app is in testing, a second session cookie holds a short random code that makes sure your browser loads the latest version of the site's design, and it's cleared when you close your browser. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
Your information stays with us while you have an account. Deleting your account from your Profile removes your account and everything in it. Polar keeps its own payment records as required for tax and legal purposes.
The app is intended only for people of legal drinking age.
